Sunday Evening ...... July 15h

Well another weekend is up and l have managed to do a lot today! I completed my Quilt squares for a challenge and also my ATC's are all done packed and ready to post also.  I also did my card swap challenge of 9 cards today the theme was a choice of your favorite destination or travel, my choice was the good ole Down Under :) Cant show you my picture yet as l haven't posted it to the girls!

l have to get into the stamping a little more now and learn more techniques because l have become a Stampin Up demonstrator and as well as selling these items l need to use them also :) But so many nice things in the catalog l could just go mad!

This weekend was to finish the challenges and clean up a little and l have managed to do both so lm very happy indeed.  I got myself two baby change tables and this is how l am using them!!!

This has cleaned up my room considerably and you can really make a difference as well as recycling something l will never want to use again its come in very handy.
Well l know this isn't a huge blog tonight but lm heading to bed! Long busy day and l wanna get as much beauty sleep as l can get lol..... gnite all sweet dreams....

July 12th 2012

OHHHHH my yep 2 days in a row and l am blogging again hahahaha dont expect to much after this ;) well like promised this post is really just to show you my Trash to Treasure challenge item l put in and to show you how l made it, now to be honest l saw pics of this somewhere and cant find it so l cant take the credit for it :) But here is a few pointers on how l made it ......

 Starting with a magazine....
Fold page in half and half again make sure you make good lines. Cut each page into the 4 pieces.

Score each piece in half so you know where the middle is.
Fold each outer side of page into the middle.
Fold it again (can get hard on the fingers!)
Then you fold it in half one edge to the other so only one opening.
Roll it up in a ball and place some glue on the edge to make it stay.
A bit og glue l used PVA.
Keep folding paer and adding it to the first and when going round do it on the base of the last round so it is forming a dome (lid).
Keep going....
till you get the height you desire.

Start folding and curling up but keep it flat this time!
Do this till its the same size as the bottom of the lid you created.

Then you fold paper up but not as small as the last lot and you glue each bit on at the top of each piece and keep going till you get as high as you like.  L glued on the inside of each piece so it didn't get bigger and lid would fit right.

When your done your lid should fit on nicely.

Then l used some adhesive ribbon/washi tape and flowers to decorate :)

You get a great little box like this :)

Its fun easy and cheap!
