October 2015..a long awaited post!

I know its been a long time between posts! hehehe well you must get used to that because lots has changed since my last post lm sure.  My life is never boring and l have so much to tell but l wont bore you to tears either! 

Stampin Up! Yes lm still loving our products and making my cards and crafty things but l run it as a hobbyist not as a business so if you need a hand just gimme a holla ;)

Was quite happy with a card l made for a g/f recently and l hope the recipient loved it too.  Her nan turned 80 and so wanted something pretty for her from her family to give so this is the card l made.  I cut out on my cricut Explore and used some lovely flowers l purchased some time back lm not sure of the brand but they are so pretty. 

Simple and easy can be quite effective.

January 12th 2015 Another few years Past...............

Well G'day! l know its been some time since l was on my blog.......well l think l said l wasn't really one for posting regularly lol well l wasn't lying was l!!! Well lm going to try to do a little more if l can l have the best intentions to do so and lm not even sure anyone bothers to read my crap anyway...do they????    So as much as this started off as being more crafty than anything else l have more to share also than just craft. I demonstrate 'The Chefs Toolbox' party plan and this is coming up to my second year in May and its been a big part of my life even though lm not one of the most busiest consultant! But its been a great paid job and one which l can say l love to do. Like our saying goes 'l love to getting paid to party!'. Within the first year of doing CTB (Chefs Toolbox) l paid for a brand new oven in my kitchen and also a long deserved Holiday over to Tasmania in February 14, omg that's so long ago now l need another one lol.

CTB is a great way for those that have a passion to sell and meet new people and even if you just love to cook and earn yourself the best ever cookware this l can promise is a great way to earn extra income and love doing it. If you are interested in doing something great that will earn you money and not to hard to do it please contact me or go to the website and see for yourself :) As well as earning yourself some great wages and friends l also did my funstart challenges and l ended up fitting my whole kitchen out with all the CTB tools! Get started l promise you will love it :) Happy to chat if needed just email me! Craft News......... Well lm a new user to the Cricut Explore Machine and l must admit lm loving it. The Cricut Design space is ok l do have a few issues with being booted on internet so it ruins me half way through a project that can be quite frustrating a times but the machine and what it cuts out is fantastic l have been having some great times learning and cutting out projects which l will share in due course. l have so much more to learn with it that l am sure l will love it to its full potential eventually. Joining groups on Facebook has helped and lm sure wont be long before l get to know more. I also have myself the Scan N Cut Brother machine, its a great tool for the craft room also, a little picky but you can get around some of the problems. Again l need to learn more about the machine with that l need time to do it, do you find never enough time in a day........sigh.... Sewing is always a great thing for me l love to sew and a lot of the time lm making covers or ladies for their Bigshot machines or new cutters or even sewing machines l try to make a lot of custom made covers for their equipment. l love to sew and find it very relaxing and satisfying when l get the time to sit and create. Making covers for my customers is very satisfying especially when then message to say they love it or that it looks fantastic in their craft room. A bit of my handwork is in many craftrooms today! Anyway its that time of the morning l must get off my backside and start the days adventures and today its painting and decorating my bedroom! Oh yeah a BIG job its one of those never ending kinda things it started in the kitchen then lounge/dining area to my craft room and now to my bedroom, l still have the other end of the house to go yet! By the time l finish l think l will need to redo it lol anyway have a great day everyone l hope l didn't bore you all to tears. Helen alias Brat xx

April 1st Aprils Fools Day

Welcome to April and my first post for the month! What has bee so exciting so far well l received my delivery of Stampin'Up products an doh my they are to die for! Mum also was very happy with her purchases and the extras from the specials! Its finding the time in-between kids getting fit with my walking and losing some weight (7 kilos up to date!) to use my new things! Yes above is another Hot Air Balloon l have created lol just love them to bits!

I also have been just putting some pictures into bottle caps as l watch the idiot box at night so l hope you like the download lm offering you this month :) enjoy but please DO NOT resell them or email etc ask them to visit my blog and download properly from me.  That is all l as....Thank you.

Well Easter is over (thankfully) l think l have seen enough chocolate pass through my hands to kids! l didnt eat much though hehehe lm on a diet! woop woop but in 4 days so far l think l must have walked 30 km lol so a small mouthful wouldnt have hurt much l wouldnt have thought hahaha

March 2013!

Welcome to 2013! Yep my usual trick lol lm a slow blogger what more can l say! Well so far what has 2013 bought me.......well for one the kitten above is a new addition to the family we found him and 2 other kittens dumped behind a tree at the local reserve, well actually Marley our Jack Russell found them so we blame her for it!  We quickly found homes for the other 2 but we had a soft spot for this lil bloke above and l tell you it has attitude! So that was one thing it bought us more trouble and another mouth to feed.....

The craft pages are doing great the girls all enjoying our ATC swaps, Tag swaps and even Matchbox swaps! Some real lovely things they are making and l love being involved with it all.  Below is one of my matchbook creations made into a briefcase kind satchel :) was my first attempt!

I have also been just creating svgs up and cutting out die cuts, l have to say my KNK Zing is worked very hard and l love it to bits! Compare to the Cricut and Silhouette SD l have to say The Zing kicks butt! Waiting on new mats today as l have killed mine to the point it wont cut right so if your after anything at all in cutters the place to go and the person to ask is Fred at SkatKatz fantastic site and Fred is a great help :)
Another site you must use is SVG cuts oh my some very nice things to use in here and they are also on Facebook so give them a like and keep up with whats coming out.  The newest creation is their Hot Air Balloon! lm having a ball with it an wanna make a heap more!

l imagine these hanging from the ceiling in my bedroom with all my other whacky creations! These are so much fun to make though and in process of making more!!! When hung will update with a photo.

I have also just been playing with making svg files on some shapes an things and would like to offer my readers if l actually have any hahaha a few freebies.

My first offer is a SVG file on Star Wars, great for kids :) Boy stuff.

I have also been playing with some dies l purchased on Facebook craft sites and l am a lover of these butterflies! They are so so pretty! What do you think? l think it looks great could use as cards or even place cards for tables especially for weddings!

Ok one of our challenges was a TAG Theme was Oriental and our lovely Host Karen organised it. 

l cant find my one lol but arent they superb!!! l think the girls did really well. At first we all went ughhh oriental what can we do but when we sat down we all did our own thing!

Have just about finished the next ATC swap and quite happy with it :) but l cant show you those till we all receive the others :) Ok well l havent much else to type now but please take a look at the link under the picture on top and make one of them! l plan on it l think they look fantastic! Ok time to sit under the fan and have a bludge!

Yeah lm back real quick! l forgot to brag about my hobby horse :) lm very proud of her actually and yes she is for sale if anyone is inquiring. 

Here is my hobby Horse...Her name is Sari (Shah-Ree) Hebrew: princess. I'm very proud of this little one she would be a toddler size hobby horse. Stands about 55 cm tall. Has a rubber stopper on the bottom also. She has bling and brads and a plated bridle brow band. She also has a tail attached :) l added a last minute thing and thought it just set her off :) Cost me $4 but thought the name tag was just right! 

Ok so enough for this Monday night just wanted to show her off :) l really want to make more lol..Gnite from me signing out and off to play in my craft room....

December 2012

Well not many posts this year maybe my new year resolution should be to blog more lol....well my life is never still and from the last time till now l think the new thing is to tell is lm a Stampin Up!' Demonstrator and really have not done a lot with it yet! But will keep you in the loop and happy to help anyone out with anything with SU items! Loving it and thats something for me as l was not a stamper lol.

My blog needed a face lift and this was it lm hoping to get on and post more exciting things for you to see and maybe show.
